Born and raised in Taiwan. YingChen "Sharon" Shu is a writer/Director based in L.A. She is known for her short films "Sullivan" and "Ataraxis".

"Use the pain to heal the pain" is a motto she lives by.

As an Asian female director, YingChen uses her "mixed" identity to her advantage when telling stories that matter.
